The first concert I ever went to was Dir en Grey when they played in Stockholm. I don’t really remember if it was good or not because I was too busy to keep up with all the jumping people around me and try not to get stomped on to death. I didn’t even get to buy a t-shirt because of my stupid decision to not take out any cash.
The second one was with An Café where I also went to a signing with them before the concert. They were all so sweet and shook every fans hand when they signed our CD’s. I will never forget that experience even though I don’t really listen to Japanese music that much anymore.
The concert was so much better than the first I went to, and not only because I didn’t stand in the middle of a horde of crazy fans as I did the first time.
The last concert I’ve been to was with LM.C, also an Japanese band. They too had a signing before the concert, but it wasn’t nearly as crowded as with An Café. But the concert was really fun, I remember we jumped around a lot and really enjoyed the music.
Hopefully I will see some other bands in a not too distant future that isn’t Japanese.
